[Documenting Memories, Pre-180] First Singing Competition

I loved singing, and have always wanted to be a singer when I was young. Therefore, when the chance came, I went ahead for my first singing competition, which is a competition called 华人星光大道, in year 2011, organised jointly by Radio Channel 1003 and TV Channel Du Hui Tai （都会台）. 

The entire experience was really special. I woke up at around 6am, and with my family, rushed to City Square Mall (the competition venue) to register (as they only take in the first 500 contestants), waited for 6 hours before my turn.

And I sang. I made a wrong choice of song by singing my idol, Rainie Yang's 遇见爱 (Meeting Love) and I made the wrong decision of singing the song from the verse. Therefore, (sadly), I sang for only 14 seconds before FIR member and guest judge 陈建宁 ring the bell to ask me to get down the stage :'( I was so embarrassed after being 'rang' down the competition stage.

Well, lesson learnt. Now I make better choice of songs and sing right from the chorus, and my singing improved more and more (No, I didn't take singing lessons :) ) and eventually I made it into Top 50 (of 1000+) contestants in Campus Superstar 2012. :)
